What to Expect
We believe that teachers are capable of sparking real change in their students’ lives by getting them outside the classroom thus pushing them out of their comfort zone and into their challenge and learning zone. We offer two fellowships designed to help you learn the hacks to get your students outside on a daily/weekly basis as well as on overnight experiences. Our training fellowships are broken up into two series. The first series, Get Outside, allows you some time to get creative upon completion. The second fellowship, Stay Outside, is open to applicants who have successfully completed the Get Outside training sessions.

Get Outside Fellowship
October 9-10 (mentoring November/December) The fellowship will be broken up into an in person weekend intensive plus several virtual follow ups. This is a basic framework of our sessions that will be refined and adjusted based on participants’ needs and experiences. Compensation: $20/hour |

Stay Outside Fellowship
January (mentoring throughout the year) The fellowship will be broken up into 4 sessions including an overnight. There will be continual check ins, follow up and support throughout the year with option to extend into the following school year.
